Kris Humphries and Al Horford want to make Kevin Love very sad

Kevin Love had a tremendous start to Game 3 of the Cleveland Cavaliers' Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Atlanta Hawks, scoring 13 points, grabbing seven rebounds and dishing two assists in 11 1/2 minutes to help stake the Cavs to an early lead. And then the second quarter happened, and things ... well, things took a turn for your man K-Love, thanks to the chopped-and-screwed AND1 handles of one Kris Humphries:

Yes, it looked like Love might have slipped as he tried to recover and carry Humphries through the paint. Kind-hearted folk will give him this benefit of the doubt. But history is not written by kind-hearted folk; it is written by winners. And on this play, against all odds, Kris Humphries was the winner. Sign him up for the next all-big-man Skills Challenge at All-Star Weekend 2017, and get some ice packs for Love's knees. (And, while you're at it, one for his pride.)

Less than a minute into the second half, Love's evening got even worse, thanks to Atlanta All-Star center Al Horford:

After Horford, whom the Hawks worked to establish on offense in the first half, beat Cavs center Tristan Thompson off the bounce, Love did the responsible thing: slid over to help Thompson out. Instead of getting up to contest the shot, though, he set himself and tried to take a charge ... and Horford absolutely baptized him with a power slam. Love couldn't believe there was no offensive foul whistled, but there wasn't — again, kind hearts, benefits of doubt, history, winners, etc. — and Atlanta had a nine-point lead, and Love had another unfortunate defensive lowlight under his belt.
