Something tells me this hat might get more people talking than Carmelo Anthony's hat. (Which will probably make Carmelo Anthony livid.)

In case you forgot, before Durant was the paragon of all things blue, orange and Oklahoman, he was drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics with the second overall pick in the 2007 NBA draft. He played 80 games in Sonics green and gold during the 2007-08 season, averaging 20.3 points per game and winning Rookie of the Year honors before owner Clay Bennett moved the team from the Emerald City to Oklahoma City, renamed them the Thunder and set in motion the wheels that would eventually wind up setting Sacramento Kings fans' teeth on edge.

Durant had previously shown off the hat on his Instagram account:

And while the 24-year-old All-Star has long espoused his love for Oklahoma City, he has never made any bones about the connection he feels toward his first NBA hometown, as he told KING5's Chris Daniels last year:

"We got up and moved and it was tough for the fans in Seattle. I wish it didn't go down the way it did," [Durant] said [...]

"I'm enjoying Oklahoma City, but I still love Seattle. It will always have a place in my heart. Hopefully, they're having a talk about getting a team there soon, so we'll see." [...]

"I played there for a year," said Durant, who was drafted in 2007 by the Sonics. "I can't just throw them to the side."
