At this point in their time together, the Big Three-led Miami Heat's accomplishments essentially speak for themselves. They've won the last two NBA titles, have represented the East in the finals three straight seasons, and look like the favorite for another conference championship this season, as well. Fans and opponents pretty much know what they're going to get every time the team suits up for a playoff game.
Nevertheless, it would stand to reason that the assembled media would have some sort of question for head coach Erik Spoelstra prior to Wednesday night's potentially series-ending Game 5 against the Brooklyn Nets. I think we can all agree that Spoelstra looks a little shocked not to have to deal with this press conference. It's certainly an expected part of the job, so it's no surprise that he's taken back. Prior to Wednesday, this turn of events existed only in Gregg Popovich's dreams.
