Listen, if nothing else, you can't say that this blog post didn't deliver exactly what the headline promised. No misdirection or tomfoolery here — this is, straight up, a brief video clip of Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan being punched in the face by a boxing glove in super slow motion as part of the promotion for Comedy Central's upcoming roast of James Franco. Truth in advertising, y'all. It's a welcome sight, too — I mean, it's been months since we saw DeAndre get smacked around.
I'm holding out hope that Jordan was only in attendance at the roast, which will air on Labor Day, and not a performer at it. Sure, we all know that DeAndre is down with totally out-of-bounds killer gooves, but you'd hate to see that sort of prime comedy slot go to a player who hasn't paid his dues on the stage rather than someone who's put in the work over the years, like noted stand-up professional Metta World Peace. Go hit the road and hone your material, DeAndre, and maybe in a couple of years you'll be ready to roast, I don't know, Shia LeBeouf or somebody. But you're not just going to cut the line in this business, pal.
And here's this, just in case famed Jordan victim and new Milwaukee Bucks guard Brandon Knight finds himself in the market for some new desktop wallpaper:
Don't say we never gave you anything, Brandon.
