Looking great, Swaggy. (Photo via swaggyp1 on Instagram)

Cool mullet, Nick Young. Wait, did I already say that? Well, that's OK. This mullet is cool enough for me to tell you how cool it is at least twice.

Clearly, the 27-year-old guard — the fifth-leading scorer on an offensively destitute Philadelphia 76ers team that continues to operate without expected centerpiece Andrew Bynum and careen toward the lottery in an increasingly lot season — felt like he needed to shake something up after missing 14 of his last 16 field goal attempts in three consecutive losses to the New York Knicks, Orlando Magic and Chicago Bulls last week.

Well, either that or he's just a big fan of "Community."

One thing that reportedly hasn't "chang-ed" — Young's still not expected back in the lineup for the Sixers' Tuesday night matchup with the Boston Celtics, thanks to a left ankle sprain that kept him out of Philly's Saturday night win over the Golden State Warriors and Sunday night loss to his former mates, the Washington Wizards.

That's a bummer for 76ers head coach Doug Collins — who, you'll recall, has taken to calling Young by his nickname, "Swaggy P" — but it's fine enough for fans who wind up tuning in to tonight's lone 7 p.m. tip, since Young figures to show off his new 'do on the Sixer bench, which has largely been the most entertaining place to look during Philly games this year, anyway.

Something about a "business in the front, party in the back" hairstyle just doesn't seem appropriate for Swaggy P to me; perhaps we should refer to this is as "a relatively small amount of party in the front, a cascading waterfall of party in the back." It might not be a content strategy, but it might be more accurate.
