Reggie Miller is very cool with Ray Allen(notes) possibly passing him on the all-time three-pointers made list. Allen is one three-point make away from tying the record. Guess what happens when he makes a three-pointer after that.
And, tonight, Reggie Miller will get a chance, in person, to be very cool with Boston's Ray Allen passing him on the all-time three-pointers made list.
Because Allen's Celtics will be at home on Thursday night, taking in the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers, in one of two NBA Finals' re-matches we'll see this year. The other, which took place a week and a half ago, saw the Celtics rather handily take care of the Lakers in Los Angeles. This evens the record between the two teams counting last year's Finals, this year's January contest, and the 1-1 split between the squads during 2009-10.
Which means tonight is the rubber match. Best of 11, like those World Series' from the late 19th century.
And Reggie Miller is cool with all of that. I mean, look at the guy. Heyyyy.
