It's been a very interesting few days for Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Andrew Wiggins, who went from joining a growing but mid-level team to a genuine title contender with Friday's addition of LeBron James. After the Cavs made the biggest addition of the summer, would the top pick in June's draft now be a relatively minor part of the team? Would he be traded for Kevin Love or another established veteran star? And how would the expectations change given that everyone on the roster will be forced to adjust to a new role?

These questions still exist, and they might not even be answered fully during Wiggins's rookie season. Whatever the case, Wiggins showed on Monday that he's not going to let these new concerns get in the way of impressing fans and analysts when he takes the court. Summer League has never been the best place to judge a player's readiness for or ideal fit in the NBA, but it does afford an opportunity to witness the basic skills and talents that make him such a good prospect in the first place. We don't know how Wiggins will work with the Cavs, but he's proving that the team has many, many reasons to get excited about his presence.
