A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: NBA.com. Raptors forward Rudy Gay gets a lot of stuff wrong in his distillation of why the analytics crowd is not his best friend, but luckily Jeff Caplan gets a lot of stuff right in his very good feature on the swingman. A swingman that the analytics crowd genuinely wants to succeed in his first full season in Toronto.
PF: SB Nation. Wondering why, exactly, Dwyane Wade cares so damn much about silly arbitrary rankings, in response to his (diet) beef with Kevin Durant.
SF: On the Wolves. Timberwolves forward Chase Budinger will worryingly be out for 6-to-8 weeks with a cartilage tear in the same knee that sidelined him for most of 2012-13.
SG: Sports Illustrated. Rob Mahoney talks up five NBA teams that should improve significantly on the defensive end in 2013-14.
PG: Bright Side of the Sun. Rookie Alex Len, recovering from ankle woes, is back to playing short bouts of pickup basketball. That’s … good?

6th: Bleacher Report. Kevin Ding posits that Kobe Bryant could be entering into the most interesting season of his career, and it’s hard to argue with the man. Literally. Because he will take you DOWN.
7th: TrueHoop. A very good partial discussion of John Lucas’ star-crossed career from Eric Goldwein.
8th: SB Nation. BBallBreakdown’s Coach Nick breaks down the go-to pindown that helps the San Antonio Spurs free Tony Parker.
9th: SBNation. Meet the mind behind some of YouTube’s more obscure NBA highlight mixes.
10th: South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Congratulations to Ira Winderman, in his 25th year as Miami Heat beat writer.
