A look around the league and the Web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: Pro Hoops History. Curtis Harris with his typically fantastic look at the career of Robert Parish, who celebrates a birthday today.
PF: Got ‘em Coach. A lovely .GIF featuring perhaps the fanciest pass Joe Dumars ever threw in his NBA career.
SF: NBA.com. Lang Whitaker again speaks with the NBA’s latest batch of rookies, this time discussing the first concert they ever attended. Shane Larkin’s is pretty embarrassing. (The first person I ever saw in concert was Paul McCartney in 1990, so I’ve won this one.)
SG: Marca. A.C. Green thinks that the idea that his abstinence from sex throughout his playing career gave him extra energy is a bit daft, which I think we all can agree with.
PG: Detroit Free Press. Even after years of failing fortunes, Pistons go-to scribe Dan Feldman is still on board with Joe Dumars’ strengths as a general manager.

6th: The Point Forward. Sports Illustrated’s Ben Golliver discusses the Los Angeles Clippers’ all-in offseason.
7th: Pioneer Press. Kevin Love apparently is going to be quite the Slim Jim when he reports to camp next month.
8th: Salt City Hoops. Scott Stevens wonders what life would be like for a Utah-based NBA fan had the Jazz never moved to Salt Lake City.
9th: Eye on Basketball. Why not spend the long Labor Day weekend reviewing some of Shawn Kemp’s nicer throwdowns?
10th: The Basketball Jones. This is Trey Kerby’s last post for The Score, and The Basketball Jones’ final salvo for that particular television station. The crew is moving on to bigger and better things, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll come up with on the other side of that lawn.
