What word describes Danica Patrick and starts with a ‘b’?

The media is doing to her what they did to Jeff Gordon. They make you so sick of hearing the name that you hate the person. I have met Gordon on three occasions, and he is a very well spoken, likable person. However, the media is his worse enemy !!

so the guy who makes a normal comment about Lin and is fired for being racist is OK but an Asian who on camera call a white woman a bitch keeps his job? Who's racist now?

While I prefer to watch the American LeMans series because I think racing five classes of cars at once, including cars that have real production chassis, is much more interesting than NASCAR, I have to give Ms. Patrick credit. The talent range between the "best" and "worst" top professional racers is very, very, small. I suspect Mr. Shimabuku would never be able to get anywhere near her if he were racing. Those who can do--do. Those who can't----turn into sportscasters?

i love seeing news broadcasters who know nothing about nascar talk about it... im not talking about the danica part but the part afterwards on JJ and the cheating bit he was stumbling so bad cause he didnt know what to say or how to describe it

Babe......come on now guys, do the male drivers do anything different when they get pis*ed off? It's tough enough to make it in a traditionally male sport. The newscasters and the other drivers scrutinize her way to much. The only thing that (apparently) counts in a NASCAR race is what position you finish in!

hey guys! there is another girl in nascar. in nationwise. she finished 17th this week. know why they dont hype her up? she is no danica, its a real shame that happens. i wish danica would recognize her.i think danica is going to be someone to deal with this yyear. she is tuff. and i know that there is some male drivers out ther that dont like her being there. and i believe they will let her know that. eat your heart out boys.she is here to stay

One thing that is worse than Danica is non NASCAR fans that post about NASCAR,if you dont like it go read something else, now as far as Danica, I am going to give her a break and wait and see how she does, just like I do all rookies however the press,Darrel Waltrip mainly, are ruining her, we do not need to hear Danica every 5 minutes, we do not need the camara to follow her to the porta poty like they did during the red flag, what we need is GOOD reporting, when she does good,,say so, when she does bad,,say so,,in between shut the hell up about her. She wrecked out of the NNWS and they still talked about her the whole race, did you know there was a different female in the field and actually finished 21st? Yup Johanna Long, they never said a word about her,,,it is not Danica that makes me sick it is the media

Just wondering out loud--to all the comments of the Go-Daddy commercials and trashing Danica because of them-anyone take the time to look at her car as see who the primary sponser is-I'll bet that part of the sponsership contract is Danica participating in their ads-just sayin'...........

Pardon this suggestion from a guy who grew outa car racing articles and hype about ten years after the Daytona 500 started, and who watched every piece of film I could see in those days, ....................but, I seem to remember the term so often used in car discussions, "Good Old Boys," and a saying the GOBs used when the topic came up of female drivers someday, "A woman driver is bad luck."

Seeing the so called accidents Danica had just last night, to say nothing of what happened last week and Saturday, there can be only one of two conclusions: 1) the drivers are right about luck, or
2) some of the "Good Old Boys" have hatched a conspiricy to make sure no woman makes it big in NASCAR, by purposely taking turns making sure her success is limited.

Avoided any further contact with the wall, and anything else, for the rest of her 340 mile trek!

Pretty girls are a dime a dozen, and being pretty alone doesn't make one sexy.

The woman ahs been racing for 14 years, always in top flight equipment, has one win and 4 poles. If she wasn't hot, no one would care who she was. she is like a Kardashian, what has she really done?

Danica is an average driver at best. That said, getting wrecked by a team member, who is clearly an inexperienced idiot, is not acceptable and I would be #$%$ too. I think she will do fine in the Nationwide series. Sprint Cup is a different story. You can't be average and last in the Sprint series. She will be a disaster there.
