Ty Dillon moving to the Nationwide Series full-time in 2014

There will be at least one Dillon in the Nationwide Series in 2014.

Ty Dillon, currently driving in the Camping World Truck Series, will make the move to the Nationwide Series next season with Richard Childress Racing and sponsorship from Yuengling.

Dillon will drive the No. 3 Chevy, the number that's currently driven by his brother Austin in the Nationwide Series. No announcement has been made about Austin's future plans, but they may include moving full-time to the Sprint Cup Series. Austin Dillon has driven in eight Sprint Cup Series races this season, including filling in for Tony Stewart at Michigan last week. He'll also drive Stewart's car at Talladega later this year.

Ty Dillon won't be inheriting a new number either, as he's in the No. 3 truck at RCR. He finished fourth in the standings last season and is fourth this season through 12 races.

With the departure of Kevin Harvick and Budweiser from RCR to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2014, we have to ask the biggest question stemming from Dillon's move to the Nationwide Series. Did RCR upgrade beer sponsors? Budweiser is, well, Budweiser, and Yuengling seems to be a polarizing beer, with many holding strong opinions of it one way or another.
