While driving for Roush, Bayne could also end up in RPM’s No. 19 Sprint Cup car, pending sponsorship. With Elliott Sadler’s contract up at the end of this year, the team hopes to run the No. 19 at least at the start of the year because it will be locked into the first five races. AJ Allmendinger and Marcos Ambrose will drive full-time for RPM next year.
