Tony Stewart will no longer be the man your man could smell like

Did you see Tony Stewart Saturday night? He was sporting a fresh haircut and was (for him) fairly clean shaven. And he presumably had just taken a shower with about 15 Old Spice products.

Come next year, he may be bathing with Axe products. Or Dove for Men. Or maybe stuff from Bath and Body Works. (Sorry for the mental images this may spur)

One thing's for certain, they won't be Old Spice.

"Based solely on a change in our marketing strategies, the Old Spice contract with Tony Stewart and Stewart-Haas Racing will expire at the end of 2010 and will not be renewed," Mike Norton, Old Spice Brand spokesman, said in a statement.

"Old Spice has enjoyed an 11-year relationship with Tony and supported him as he became a very successful team owner in NASCAR. We wish Tony and Stewart-Haas Racing continued success in the future."

Unless Stewart-Haas already has a deal with Budweiser or a similar sponsor, this could easily put a damper on the team's plans to expand to three cars. Remember, the races that Ryan Newman runs with Haas Automation on the car are basically unsponsored races, so Stewart-Haas is now looking for roughly 28 races for their two drivers in 2011. That's the economy for you.
