So how many tweets did Bubba Wallace get for Bubba Watson's Masters win?

People can be easily confused. Just look at the number of people who thought Jimmie Johnson won the rain-delayed 2014 Daytona 500 when Fox was showing the 2013 Daytona 500 to fill time in February.

Did the confusion happen again on Sunday with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Bubba Wallace and Masters champion Bubba Watson?

Watson won 2014's first golf major by three strokes Sunday, prompting this tweet by Wallace, NASCAR driver.

Did a ton of people congratulate Wallace on the Masters? Well, based off a search of Wallace's mentions on Twitter, no. He got just one, and it looks to be a sarcastic congratulatory tweet.

Could John have been confused and really thought it was Wallace at Augusta National Golf Club? Sure, it's possible. But with the usage of caps and the kudos to IndyCar driver Mike Conway winning at Long Beach, we're not going to bet on it. (And of course, the congratulatory tweets took off after Wallace's tweet.)

It's also entirely possible that Wallace could have gotten some congratulatory texts and messages via another medium as well. But we're also guessing that's not likely. If people who would know him well enough to contact him another way were confused, surely that confusion would have spread to Twitter, right?

We're not faulting Wallace for making the joke, we appreciate Daytona mixup references, and we're now wondering who the best golfer among NASCAR drivers is. But rest easy, this wasn't even close to the level of Twitter racing confusion we experienced eight weeks ago.
