Take a ride in a Daytona Prototype
On Tuesday, I got the chance to ride shotgun with Grand-Am's Jordan Taylor in a Daytona Prototype around the road course at Kansas Speedway as part of the festivities surrounding the MLS All-Star Game.
And it was awesome.
Ride with us as we hit the infield turns before we jump on the banking of the oval and race around to do it again. My top takeaway? If we add a road course to the Sprint Cup schedule, an oval with a road course should be seriously considered. Watching the Cup cars tackle banking and then slam on the brakes for a flat 90 degree corner lap after lap would be great to see.
