Red Bull Racing struggled at Pocono, but its PR team didn't

Most post-race team releases sound the same. Quotes from the driver are involved and the release talks about the day that the driver had. Mediocre days can elicit mediocre releases, because, after all, there's only so much you can say for finishing 25th and hanging on the end of the lead lap all day.

Red Bull Racing's day at Pocono was definitely in the mediocre category. Reed Sorenson finished 29th, while Scott Speed finished 26th. However, the team release definitely wasn't mediocre.

Some highlights:

+ Pocono Raceway is like the Death Star when it comes to rain. There’s some sort of triangular tractor beam that seems to suck in ominous clouds.

+ It’s highly recommended that you have an “XPRESS NASCAR” pass to get out of this behemoth of a race track.

+ The Chelsea Clinton wedding was only three hours away in Rhinebeck, N.Y. Maybe you heard about that.

Kudos to Red Bull. We can only hope that the Martinsville release critiques the short track's famous hot dogs.
