The NASCAR World Cup: Edwards and Kenseth clinch spots

The seven matchups of 1-0 drivers at Pocono in week two of the NASCAR World Cup separated the field in many groups but only provided us an idea of who's going on to the next round in Group E.

Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth, both 1-0 entering Pocono, got wins and eliminated Kasey Kahne and Regan Smith from advancing to the round of 16 after Watkins Glen. Edwards and Kenseth will face each other at Watkins Glen and the winner of that matchup will take the group.

Everywhere else, the situation is pretty murky, as Elliott Sadler may be the only driver that's truly eliminated. 0-2 David Reutimann has the best shot of the winless drivers so far of advancing as Group G counterparts Paul Menard and David Ragan still have negative finish differentials after two weeks. And who would have thought that Brad Keselowski would be in control of Group A?
