You may have to search a bit to watch the Bristol race

Look, I know what you're going to say about NASCAR getting bounced around the television dial, so I'm just going to have my say and get out of the way so that you can comment as you will. Saturday night's Bristol race will be on ABC for most of the country, but there are a few places where preseason football games or other programming (hopefully not, like, M*A*S*H reruns or anything) will be pre-empting the race. In that case, the race will be visible on ESPN2. So if you live in any of the markets below, heads up:

Nashville, Tenn.; Duluth and Rochester, Minn.; Phoenix; Casper, Wy.; Sioux Falls and Rapid City, S.D.; and Weslaco, Tex. And in Houston, the race will be on the local ABC digital affiliate, whatever that is. Yes, there will no doubt be complaining about this, but it's the NFL. We all know where everything, right up to and including national emergencies, fits in connection to the NFL.
