Nothing quite like a little postrace drama, huh? Kevin Harvick was thoroughly dominating Saturday night's American Warrior 300, dominating in a way we've rarely seen this season. But a late caution brought him back to the pack, and on fresher tires, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. caught him to win the race.
Ah, but what caused that caution? ESPN cameras caught Brad Keselowski throwing a water bottle out of his car, and Harvick and his team assumed that was what caused the caution. NASCAR's repeated assurances (and a later on-camera shot) that the caution was caused by a piece of aluminum did little to calm Harvick, who assumed the conspiratorialist's "that's what they WANT you to think!" approach.
In this postrace press conference compilation by SB Nation's Jeff Gluck, you see Harvick as fiery as he has been all season. Wait for the cheek-tap. Good stuff.
