Did you know Jeff Gordon and NBC announcer Bob Costas used to live one floor from each other in New York City? And that Sting and Denzel Washington also lived in the same building?

Gordon was on the Dan Patrick Show Friday, and got the chance to chat with his former neighbor, who was sitting alongside Patrick. The topic quickly turned to the hilarious revenge video that Gordon filmed on a blogger that was critical of a previous prank that Gordon was involved in with Pepsi.

"Luckily Travis (Okulski) from Jalopnik gave us a lot of great material, as well as a lot of other bloggers and just media members out there who were kind of picking it apart as far as what was real and what wasn't real," Gordon said.

Gordon also said that it was ironic that Dale Earnhardt Jr. won the Daytona 500 Sunday night after his character in the second video was named Dale. He said he got up to about 80 MPH in the taxi cab, which sprinted "away" from a a fake state tooper before parking in a garage to reveal to Okulski that it was a charade.
