This week, ESPN debuted the latest in its "30 for 30" series, an exceptional documentary on Tim Richmond entitled "To The Limit." (You can read our full review here
.) Today, we speak to Rory Karpf, the director of the doc, for a little bit of insight as to how this all came together, as well as some thoughts on Richmond himself and the way he both altered and was affected by the NASCAR garage. NASCAR Media Group put together this documentary, but despite your expectations, it doesn't flinch from the elements of the story that make the sport look pretty bad. Karpf details all this and more, including the behind-the-scenes stories about interviewing NASCAR legends and other significant figures in the life and death of Tim Richmond. Give it a listen, subscribe, and make sure you watch the documentary, too.
