Yes, the Winter Olympics in Vancouver has its share of grace and athletic artistry. But the best performance of the day came a few miles south at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif. Why? Because if Olympic athletes miss a routine, they don't get run over by a two-ton car. Check the catlike reflexes exhibited by a member of Jamie McMurray's crew during Sunday's race:
Man! That's some all-or-nothing gambling there by crewman Adam Moser. And again, a tire is the culprit, as it was a year ago in Atlanta when one of Marcos Ambrose's crewmen chased a tire across the track. I think we all see the problem here: those round tires have a tendency to roll away. Can't NASCAR do something about that?
