    Bad news, Danica: Your Super Bowl ad is ranking dead last

    Danica Patrick had better hope that the Super Bowl of motorsports goes a little better for her than the Super Bowl of, well, Super Bowls.

    Patrick is the star of more Super Bowl commercials than any other human being in recorded history, at least according to sponsor Go Daddy, though we've got to figure the Budweiser Clydesdales outdo her if you're going across species. Anyway, Patrick's commercial for The Cloud, which you can view above, is currently ranked dead last in the USA Today/Facebook Ad Meter, 54th out of 54. And Patrick's other commercial, "Body Paint," is faring little better, ranking 51st. (The clubhouse leader is the Doritos slingshot-baby one, though I liked Doritos' murderous, body-hiding dog better.)

    Anyway, what does this all mean? Not a whole lot in the grand scheme of things. After all, we're talking about her and Go Daddy, which is exactly what both parties want. And as M.I.A. showed with her middle finger at the halftime show, provocation can outstrip talent any day of the week.

    Really, the only people who are the losers here are the people who think that ads should have a modicum of taste or wit behind them (is there anyone left who really believes that?) and the people who are tired of hearing about Danica Patrick. Sorry to say, friends, but she's here and she's not going away. For everyone's sake, let's hope she actually drives well enough to warrant all the coverage she'll be getting.

    Less than three weeks to Daytona, folks. Not much longer now.

      Perhaps, there are a lot more people out there sick of having to see, hear, and read about her on a daily basis there is a backlash developing. The Biased Sports Networks, "reporters", and broadcasters over expose and drool over her to a nauseating degree. Really, she's won ONE race and just not deserving of all this hype. At least wait until she's accomplished something of significance! There are so many other drivers more deserving of media coverage!

      Amazing how someone win very little actual racing talent compared to the male drivers, that she gets all this "sex" advertising. Just ironic how these women fight so hard for equal rights, fair pay, want to play with the men, yet they do this advertising which demoralizes women. Way to go Danica, freaken sell out, now you are playing like the men. Win a race for a change! She has a lot in common with D. Earnhart jr.

      And WHY does the Go Daddy commercials suck?!? EASY!!! It's the same "stuff", with a few tweaks, every year. Sure, their commercial in Super Bowl XXXIX was good, because they were the only ones to grow a pair, and try to make a funny commercial after all that happened with the Super Bowl before it, but it seems that they have been stuck on the same formula, and it sucks.

      And to add, let's be real... Go Daddy trying to get us to go to their site to "see the rest of the commercial", like we are going to see Danica's ta ta's. Yeah, It's probably nothing more than another way to push Go Daddy and their plans. Yeah, Danica's other sponsors would LOVE it if she was in some X-rated commercials.

      that is because she is old news and the only reason nascar brought her in is because they think it will help shrinking viewership and sales. Look at all the empty seats at every race. I was a longtime fan for over 30 years but its not the same sport any longer. It is boring,predictable and they are falling away from their roots.
      Danica is not going to change a thing. There are enough whiny drivers, the Busch brothers for example but at least they have talent.
      Danica is a nobody when it comes to talent and if she were a guy, she would never have a ride. Her record in Indy is lackluster and only win came at the luck of a fuel mile gamble.
