Allen Bestwick will be the new voice of Sprint Cup Series race telecasts for ESPN starting with the Brickyard 400.

Bestwick, who did race play-by-play and pit reporting for NBC before moving to ESPN in 2007, replaces Marty Reid in the booth and will be alongside Andy Petree and Dale Jarrett. Bestwick had been the host of ESPN's NASCAR Countdown pre-race show.

Reid will continue to be the lead announcer for ESPN's Nationwide and Izod IndyCar Series telecasts, as well as practice and qualifying telecasts. Nicole Briscoe will be the new host of Countdown to Green for the 17 Sprint Cup telecasts through the end of 2011.
