1934 Packard wins Best in Show at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

It took a couple of years of restoration, but a 1934 Packard 1108 Twelve Dietrich Convertible Victoria owned by Joseph and Margie Cassini III of West Orange, N.J., triumphed over a couple hundred competitors to take the Best in Show trophy at this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. It's the second time the Cassinis have won, the first time an American car has won since 2007. Packard Twelves are widely considered among the most beautiful cars of their era, but the Cassini's faced a tough field of pre-war competitors this year. (No car made after 1945 has won Pebble Beach since the show's first year in 1950.) See the magic moment below:
