Wanderlei Silva on UFC 175 'big confusion'

UFC president Dana White says that Wanderlei Silva is out of the originally scheduled July 5th's UFC 175 fight with rival Chael Sonnen because of licensing complications. However, the Brazilian former champion released a video Friday claiming that the whole thing is simply a "big confusion" and that he will soon return to the United States and Nevada - where he resides and where UFC 175 will take place - clear everything up and will still fight Sonnen.

According to Silva, an unidentified man came to his gym recently with English-language paperwork, demanding that "The Axe Murderer" sign them. The fighter said that his English reading comprehension wasn't good enough to sign anything in English without an attorney and refused to sign.

While the above video doesn't really clear up any of the confusion mess of how Silva - who has never before had major licensing issues - was suddenly pulled from a card and replaced by Vitor Belfort, who has had a great deal of difficulty with licensing in Nevada and isn't currently licensed in the state, it is the most we've heard from the long-time Pride champion since the controversy broke.
