MMA Marketplace: ‘Big Country’s’ Built Roy Tough shirt

Usually, before a title fight, we'll match up walkout shirts of the two contenders. For UFC 143, Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit brought the boring, expected shirts. Instead, it was co-main eventer Roy Nelson who has the best walkout shirt of the weekend.

    Roy Nelson's walkout shirt

Hopefully, he won't hear from Ford Motor Company's lawyers over the Built Roy Tough shirt, because it's both creative and a good look. It coming in gray and costing just $24.99 is the cherry on top.

He should just get a sponsorship deal with a Las Vegas Ford dealer and then add their small Ford dealer ad to the back...voila legal

      Nice shirt. I'd but that.

Yea bro, totally buy that shirt so everyone can laugh at you as you walk past them at that totally straight tuff guy cowboy bar you venture to on Thursday nights. I'd butt that...

        You would "Buy" it retard.

I have to agree, it's one of the better walkout shirts in recent years. No skulls, gryphons, phoenixes, or dragons, and no lame "we run MMA" declarations from a sponsor.

It's a good looking shirt, but i would not call it creative. Unless Ford is involved, then it is just ripping them off. Not exactly creative to take someone else's logo and put your own brand in it.

Not a very creative post, eh?

I would buy it if Punishment was not involved. Otherwise, nice shirt!

Roy will never be relevant in the HW division. NEVER! Again, he is just a fat pile of cheet that has horrid training. You can use the "fat" nonsense as a "cool gimmick" in WWE, but to be a CHAMP requires training and skill, which Roy does not have. Yea, he can KO a kid from the TUF retard show, but that is not skill. Get real. If Roy was serious about MMA, he would be fighting at 205, lose the fat, join a real training camp, and work with top athletes, coaches, etc. But nooo, he is just a fat hog who makes a mockery of the "sport."

I agree he should drop to LHW, but to say he's not serious about MMA shows how dumb you are. He's got good stand up and is a high level black belt in BJJ.

They aren't retards....they are mentally gifted.

Bodhi, use your old pic. The new one just isn't working for you. And the fools on TUF are retards, end of story.

Sbig$%^&&%$: How is he serious in his training? By packing on pound and pound, gassing easily, and losing important fights? He is a FAT PILE. If he dropped to LHW and got serious, I think he could be good. I know it is not a bodybuilding contest. But the horrid fatness is demonstrative of inferior training. And IT SHOWS IN HIS FIGHTS!!!! When is is not fighting a chump, he loses. GET IT?

Other than Affliction/Tapout shirts that are synonymous with military, hicks, and guidos how much revenue can these random t-shirt designs for every fighter really generate??
      • Sbigshaun 3 months ago
What's so different from someone wearing a fighter t-shirt to someone wearing a Cowboys or a Packers t-shirt? Other than the fact that you're a bigoted b@#ch that thinks he knows it all.
      • Ross 3 months ago
the way t-shirts work... at least the ones you can order online... is they dont make them until someone orders them. its not like millions of shirts for every fighter are stitched and then thrown away

Fantastic Maggie Moo! I see a Pulitzer in your horizon!! Wow, I am blown away every time I see an article with your name on it. I think: Total quality. Educated hussy. First rate. Example to all female journalists!! (Or, embarrassing retarded hack.)

Guess who didn't get laid last night?
      • Doghouse Riley 3 months ago
Actually, my smoking hot wife wants me every night. I have what you clowns would refer to as a "trophy" wife": Like me, she is a doctor; she is Vietnamese; under 29 years of age......utterly beautiful.....And unlike Maggie Moo, she knows how to WRITE AND THINK! She is anything but a pseudo- feminist fat body.

So, thanks for asking big mouth who should be silent and whose opinion is irrelevant to anything. Go sit on your thumb and rotate.

Come on, Riley. You don't have to lie to kick it. You wrote that from your mom's basement. Idiot.

I like it, and I think since it could be seen as parody / homage there shouldn't be any legal problems.
