Fedor, Lesnar or the Kraken: Who should Overeem fight next?

As Cofield discussed, Strikeforce heavyweight champ Alistair Overeem only wants his next bout to be against Fedor Emelianenko, but that doesn't mean we can't speculate on who we'd like to see "The Demolition Man" face next.

Fedor Emelianenko: Strikeforce has a great heavyweight champ. Strikeforce also has one of the greatest heavyweights of all time. It seems logical that they should fight, and the MMA world wants it. Please, Strikeforce and M-1. Make it happen.

Brock Lesnar or Shane Carwin: Yes, this is likely just a dream, as the two fighters are both contractually bound to the UFC and fighting each other on July 3. But that doesn't mean we can't discuss it. Lesnar and Carwin would not be affected by Overeem's size, and both fighters have top-notch wrestling skills which could create an interesting problem for Overeem.

Fabricio Werdum: The Strikeforce heavyweight fights Fedor Emelianenko in June. He isn't favored to win, but if he does, he should face Overeem next.

The Kraken: Sure, the Kraken is a mythical beast that lives in the water while Overeem is an actual beast that lives in Amsterdam, but let's put that aside. Can Overeem try one of those judo throws with the Kraken, who has giant lumbering arms covered in polyps?

The drama of who Overeem should fight next will likely play out over the summer. I'm pulling for the Kraken, but if not him, I will be happy to see an Overeem-Fedor fight.
