Carlos Condit gets decisive win, Kelvin Gastelum impressive at Ultimate Fight Night 27

Martin Kampmann won his first fight with Carlos Condit in a still-disputed decision. At Ultimate Fight Night 27 in Indianapolis on Wednesday night, Condit left no doubt as to who was the better fight, winning with a fourth-round TKO.

Kampmann started the fight out with the upper hand. He took Condit down in the first round, and controlled the former interim champ on the ground. Condit took over in the second and didn't look back. He opened up a cut on Kampmann's face in the third round. Blood streamed down Kampmann's face as Condit tried to secure a rear-naked choke near the end of the round. The blood and sweat made it too slick for Condit to get the choke, but he found another way in the fourth round.

Condit unleashed his hands as the fourth round began. Kampmann had no answer for Condit's strikes, and fell to his knees. The fight was stopped 54 seconds into the fourth round, breaking Condit's two-fight losing streak.

In the co-main event, Rafael dos Anjos showed off a complete game in a 29-28, 29-28, 29-28 win over Donald Cerrone. Dos Anjos controlled every aspect of the fight on the way to his fifth straight win.

Gastelum gets quick win
Kelvin Gastelum, the latest winner of "The Ultimate Fighter," showed he's more than just a reality show winner with a quick win over Brian Melancon. Gastelum knocked Melancon down and came up with a rear naked choke by 2:26 in the first round.

Court McGee found the right weight class as he picked up another win at welterweight. He threw some brutal strikes at Robert Whittaker, who survived to hear the judges' cards. McGee won 29-28, 29-28 and a surprising 27-30.

Erik Perez had plenty of hype behind him going into his fight with WEC and UFC veteran Takeya Mizugaki. Perez's winning streak came to an end as he was controlled -- and nearly submitted -- by Mizugaki. The judges saw it 29-28, 28-29, 29-28 for Mizugaki.

In the first two fights of the main card, Dylan Andrews turned a boring fight into a thrilling one with a third-round TKO of Papy Abedi. The slow moving fight ended when Andrews landed a big right hand, a series of uppercuts, and strikes on the ground to stop the bout at 1:32. Brad Tavares extended his winning streak to four with a unanimous decision win over Bubba McDaniel.
