Alves wants you to join him for brain surgery

Thiago Alves had surgery to correct the brain problem that kept him out of last Saturday's bout against Jon Fitch, and he was kind enough to video the experience. (Don't worry; he didn't include anything that would upset the squeamish.)

At the end, Alves rambles on about how much he appreciates the UFC, particularly the leadership team of Dana White and the Fertitta brothers. It's nice that Alves rambled in a good way after surgery. When I came out from being under anesthesia from my knee surgery, I told my sister to leave me alone because I was in the middle of a great nap.

Alves is optimistic on a quick return to fighting. His manager tweeted that he's aiming for Pitbull to fight on UFC 114 on May 29 in Las Vegas.
