The UFC returns to Rio de Janeiro this Saturday with a big card headlined by a world title grudge rematch between Jose Aldo (24-1) and Chad Mendes (16-1). Earlier on the UFC 179 card, light heavyweight contenders Glover Teixeira (22-3) and Phil Davis (12-2) lock up to decide who will move closer to a title shot.
The Countdown to UFC 179 crew followed the participants in those two bouts, as well as lightweights Diego Ferreira (10-0) and Beneil Dariush (8-1), who will kick off the pay per view portion of the event.
