[VIDEO] Fan Art: Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor
You may have heard the name of a featherweight named Conor McGregor recently, and thought, "who is this quiet young man, and why isn't he getting all that much hype and attention?" Well, you should know that McGregor is none other than Ireland's next great MMA hope, and the man UFC president Dana White says will be next to challenge for the 145 pound title.
After just four fights, McGregor has managed to both look good in the Octagon against increasingly stiff competition, and garner a great deal of attention for himself with his feel-good trash talk, outside of it. White isn't the only one pushing for a McGregor title fight against champ Jose Aldo (who has to actually, you know, still beat Chad Mendes later this month in order to stay champ), as the above fan-made promo video shows.
A skilled fan calling themself JayBandit put together this pretty slick promo video for a hypothetical Aldo vs. McGregor showdown to take place, "Live at Croke Park." We'll agree that this is a bit hasty, but we also have to admit that the video is nicely done, cool, and has us hyped for that potential fight.
