Yoga Panda: Pablo Sandoval can do the splits, but not without serious repercussion

Of all the surprising things that happened in baseball while you were sleeping on Tuesday night, the most surprising was San Francisco's Pablo Sandoval pulling off the splits to complete a double play in the Giants' defensive-minded 3-2 win over the San Diego Padres.

Of all the unsurprising things that happened in baseball while you were sleeping, the least surprising — the start of the Miami Marlins fire sale aside — was Sandoval injuring his left hamstring and being forced to leave the game. Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that Kung Fu Panda's short stint in the world of jazzercise has earned him a date with an MRI machine and a break of at least a few days. Breathe, Giants fans, breathe!
