Another month of baseball has passed, and thus we've experienced another month of mashing by MLB sluggers. So The Stew is back with its monthly tally of the furthest-traveling dingers of the month.

A month after Giancarlo Stanton was the home-run king of April, another big NL slugger reigned supreme, Paul Goldschmidt. The Arizona Diamondbacks slugger went deeeeeeep last week, snatching the monthly title away from rookie C.J. Cron.

Here are the top five homers of May, as measured by ESPN's Home Run Tracker, followed by our updated 2014 Home Run Scoreboard. Watch these, then wait and see who in MLB has the most jacked-up June.

1. PAUL GOLDSCHMIDT — 470 FEET (MAY 28)
True story: Goldschmidt hit this off the scoreboard, off his own picture.

2. C.J. CRON — 468 FEET (MAY 10)
This was the first career homer for the Los Angels Angels rookie. It was a big one.

It wasn't just over the wall, but out of the stadium at Wrigley Field.

With this, he now has three of the top 10 longest homers of the season thus far.

His second appearance on this list in as many months.
