Postseason fever has hit Pittsburgh. Just ask Johnny Cueto. Or you can look at these pictures from St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh, where staff has started dressing up newborn babies in Pittsburgh Pirates gear. Oh, and little bandanas too.
When your baseball team is in the playoffs for the first time in 21 years, and it won its do-or-die wild-card game in impressive fashion, the locals are expected to jump on the bandwagon. You may not have expected that to happen in a hospital nursery, but hey, it's cute. At least these younguns can say they were Pirates fans since birth and actually mean it.
The Pittsburgh hospital is also using its Bucco bundles of joy to talk trash to a hospital in St. Louis. That's where the Pirates play Game 1 of the NLDS at 5 p.m. ET Thursday against the Cardinals.

And some of you readers think Twitter is useless?! Come on. In the pre-Twitter era how would we have known hospitals in rival cities were talking smack to each other during the MLB postseason?
St. Clair Hospital, by the way, is the same hospital that swaddled its newborns in Pittsburgh Steelers Terrible Towels before the 2011 Super Bowl.
