    A skydiver’s view of a plunge into Petco Park

    So it's apparently thrill-seeking day here on Big League Stew. First we post a video of Boston Red Sox reliever Mark Melancon diving with great white sharks and now here's a first-person clip of two skydivers making their way into San Diego's Petco Park.

    It's not quite as gripping as the first-person video of the 101st Airborne dropping into a packed Michigan Stadium, but it's more than enough to get me excited for my first trip to Petco Park this July.

    Wonder if they'll let me arrive in similar fashion?

    UPDATE: The first video we embedded was removed from YouTube, but we've swapped it out with this one from 2009 which is actually even better.

      Hard to believe you've never been to Petco. I made the trip while seeing some family in LA and SD over the summer. Absolutely gorgeous place to see an afternoon game.
