Big week for Russell Wilson. He'll be quarterbacking the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday, and Topps has announced it's printing up a new baseball card of him for its Bowman collection that'll be out in May. We'll let you decide which is more prestigious.

Wilson will be wearing a Texas Rangers uniform on the new card, since the Rangers selected him in the Rule 5 draft in December. Wilson played for the Colorado Rockies Single-A team in 2010 and 2011, after the Rockies spent a fourth-round draft pick on him in 2010. There's almost zero chance that Wilson would return to baseball, so this might be his only keepsake as a Texas Ranger.

Marc Stephens, the marketing manager for Topps, told Fox Sports Southwest:

"There are two reasons we decided to put him in. First he switched teams. Plus, for the same reason the Rangers picked him up, he's an exciting story, a big story. As soon as he switched teams we wanted a prospect card of him. It seemed like a good idea considering the success he's had. We wanted to showcase a dual-sport athlete."

While Wilson won't be replacing Jurickson Profar at second base anytime soon, the quarterback has said he'd like to be associated with the Rangers organization and possibly go to spring training. So at the very least we'll probably see Wilson throwing out a first pitch.

As baseball card collectors are well aware, this isn't Wilson's first card. Topps' Pro Debut set featured Wilson in 2010, as did Bowman. Neither card sells for any more than $20. But for the collector who must have all the Russell Wilsons, there will soon be a Rangers card to chase.
