Alex Rodriguez was his typical stale self during his Monday press conference, giving us more of those aloof facial expressions we've grown accustomed to over the years. But holy moly, you guys, did you see the death stare he unleashed during Monday night's game? It happened right before he stepped to the plate for his first at-bat.
For all the nothing-saying he did during his press conference, you had to know there was some rage inside of A-Rod somewhere. Look, there it is. Brooding, menacing A-Rod. He wears that much better than aloof.
Who's he scowling at? The easy answer is Jose Quintana, the Chicago White Sox pitcher. But we all know better than that. He was death staring me and you and Bud Selig and Tony Bosch and every person in the world who's made an A-Roid joke on Facebook. Let's zoom in a little closer.

Come to think of it, that's not a bad comparison. Because "Star Wars" — like A-Rod — was much better back in the day.
