Raul Ibanez has been having a nice season for the Seattle Mariners — especially when you consider he's 41 years old and his 24 homers are approaching his career high of 34. See, we said something nice about Raul Ibanez.
Now, we can say this next thing without feeling bad: Raul Ibanez made a hilariously bad throw on Tuesday night. Like so bad you might want to call him RauLOLOLOL for a few days.
Here's another angle:
Melky Cabrera of the Toronto Blue Jays — who the Mariners happened to be playing Tuesday night — had an equally bad throw last week, so he better not have been in the dugout laughing. Melky managed to throw the ball backward.
Raul's gaffe, however, is more in the neighborhood of John Wall's horrendous first pitch. He has an excuse, though, he's a basketball player.
