The West Michigan Whitecaps, the Single-A team for the Detroit Tigers, are one of Minor League Baseball's top teams for unusual food and belly-busting food. Last year, they introduced a bacon-shell taco to go along with their already popular Fifth Third Burger, a massive one and two-thirds pound burger with fritos, chili and salsa among other things. In the past, they've tested bologna lollipops.

What concession items are the Whitecaps introducing in 2014? That remains to be seen, but the team did show off some possibilities at their annual "food cutting," where members of the local community get to chomp down new creations and offer feedback.

It's a lot like being a taste-tester at the county fair — with things like mashed potato hot dogs, chicken and waffle sliders and "epic drinks" on the menu. We're still not sure what the epic drinks are, but they sound dangerous. Given that we live in the Instagram age, the Whitecaps were sharing the visuals, so we could all live vicariously:

OVERVIEW OF THE FOOD

THE MENU

CHICKEN AND WAFFLES SLIDERS

MASHED POTATO HOT DOGS

SPIDER DOGS

SALTED CARAMEL BACON

DEEP-FRIED TWINKIES

DUCK TENDERS

We'll let you know if any of these items make the cut for 2014. Oh, and good luck enjoying your mundane lunch or dinner now.
