Matt Harvey has been collecting cool points with baseball fans ever since he debuted with the New York Mets on July 26, 2012. Within a year of that date, the 24-year-old right-hander began dating supermodel Anne Vyalitsyna, appeared in ESPN the Magazine's "Body Issue," and to cap it all off, started the All-Star game in his home ballpark, Citi Field.
The only thing that could slow him down was a torn elbow ligament that required Tommy John surgery in October. But if Harvey has his way, he'll only add to his legend with a miraculous return to the mound in September.
Should we doubt him? Probably not, because Matt Harvey has been exuding coolness and toughness since his days in diapers.
Here's the proof.

That's one rockin' crib.
In addition to the wooden bat, which is awesome all by itself, Harvey also has the rarely attempted sunglasses and pacifier look working. Throw in the footie pajamas and the tough guy pose and you have a certifiably cool baby.
Sometimes you're born with it. Sometimes you have to work for it. Matt Harvey was definitely born with it, though he certainly works hard to maintain it.
