Jose Iglesias adds another defensive gem to his highlight reel in his return to Boston

We've been there and done that when it comes to explaining the hype about rookie Jose Iglesias' defensive prowess.

Iglesias was acquired by the Detroit Tigers from the Boston Red Sox to fill the spot of the suspended Jhonny Peralta, and if Iglesias keeps making plays like the one above, there's a good chance nobody in Detroit will miss Peralta. Permanently.

Iglesias has already given his new team a few oh-snap-let's-watch-that-again moments. For example, this dizzying double play from Sunday that shows he is capable of fancy footwork and impeccable balance.

This play is still our favorite from Iglesias' highlight reel, but Sunday's might have been a little bit sweeter. It came against the team who traded him, and off the bat of Dustin Pedroia, who he shared the middle infield with for the first part of this season.

This, in fact, was Iglesias' first game in Fenway Park since the trade. He got a nice ovation from the crowd and also doubled at the plate.

Baseball season's in full swing. Don't miss a thing.
