Fan play of the day: Lady snares a line drive with her glove, is super pumped afterward

Last week at a San Francisco Giants game, we saw a great-grandmother snag a foul ball and then do a dance of joy. We loved it. The announcers loved it. Everybody loved it. It was precious. But now she's got a challenger for best older-woman-with-a-glove play this season.

Check out this foul ball catch from Thursday's Houston Astros-Cleveland Indians game. The lady pulls off a play that some big leaguers might miss. She snares a screamer of a line drive after hopping to her feet and stabbing her glove into the air. She then jumped around, all full of happy.

She's right to be happy too. This play was something else — from the instinctual catch to how pumped she was afterward. Plus the ball was hit so hard it looked it was going to take her with it.

Many people bring a glove to game, hoping to make a catch like this and be a star for 15 minutes. She did it. Bravo to her.
