Domonic Brown’s dog Tyga played in the Puppy Bowl

Meet Tyga, a 12-week-old pit bull who belongs to Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Domonic Brown. Tyga may now be the second most famous dog in baseball (next to David Price's Astro, who has a bobblehead).

Tyga got some screen time in Sunday night's Puppy Bowl X on Animal Planet. He was one of 39 dogs who participated in the popular canine-alternative to the Super Bowl.

Brown played the role of proud papa on Instagram, saying, "So proud of my dog." It's sort of like being Archie Manning, right?

Apparently Tyga didn't do too much in the Puppy Bowl itself. Not enough to get courted by baseball teams (though, if he could pitch, the Phillies would probably be listening).

Just a thought: Tyga's ho-hum performance might be because he shares a name with an unfortunate rapper. Perhaps, had the pup been named after Action Bronson, he'd be more about that action, boss.
