After landing a cougar five years his senior, I offer Kendrick a hearty congratulations an an atta boy — even in spite of my belief that reality television stars should not be looked at directly in the eye and even though a fellow member of the Phils' pitching staff, Cole Hamels, already beat him to the novelty. (For that matter, so did LaGrossa's ex-husband.)
At the same time, I'd like to advise young Kyle to take extreme caution in proceeding with this matter of the heart. Even though he's probably pretty stoked to be dating a bona fide Philly celebrity, he should still be on the lookout now that Brett Myers back in town and probably looking to take his anger of being previously demoted on someone weaker.
In other words, if Charlie Manuel tries to set up a double date in front of a Comcast camera with Kendrick and LaGrossa while Myers snickers in the background, it'd probably be best for Kyle to just swing first and ask questions later.
