Why, no, he was just "here to support a good organization." Also, he says he can "just stay out of the way."
"Believe it or not," said Cuban while talking to what was described a big media crowd. "I can stay out of the way."
Right — And I can drink just one oat soda when I slip on a pair of rented shoes. Cuban knows darned wel that his appearance runs along the same lines as why Bowflex offers those guaranteed in-home trials. (Because once it's in your living room, how are you going to get it out?)
Then again, it's easy to see why Cuban is on his best behavior. If his bid is rejected by baseball's stodgy owners and he's up for challenging baseball's antitrust exemption in court, perhaps the less said now, the better. So, roll away in silence, good sir.
