We've talked a lot about ticket sales for the Miami Marlins' home opener in the last month. There was the short line when tickets went on the sale, the buy-one-get-one-free offers, the Groupon deal, the Little Caesars challenge. It all lead up to Monday's home opener for the massively made-over Marlins, who are hosting the Atlanta Braves.
UPDATE: The official attendance at Monday's game was 34,439. Capacity is 36,742. Here's a story by Yahoo Sports' Eric Adelson about Marlins fans and the "decent turnout" to the home opener.
Here, from the point-of-view of Yahoo! Sports' Eric Adelson, is the crowd at Marlins Park:

Look for Adelson's story later about the scene in South Florida. We're not going to opine on this one. We'll wait to hear from Adelson and you readers.
