You had to know that when Jadeveon Clowney was drafted by the Houston Texans in Thursday night's NFL Draft, someone was going to make a groan-worthy joke connecting Clowney to Bryce Harper's famous "clown question, bro" quote.
Who better than Bryce Harper?
It's a bad joke that might actually be so bad it's good because Harper himself made it. Think about that for a second.
The Washington Nationals outfielder actually relayed some proper congratulations to Clowney on going No. 1 overall, the same position in which Harper was drafted in the 2010 MLB draft.
Harper didn't go as far as to offer any advice to his fellow No. 1 pick, but if he had, it probably would have been this: Always hustle.
