Baseball Theater with Yasiel Puig: bad route, great catch, unlikely double play

You can debate how good of a player Yasiel Puig is, how exciting he is and whether he "plays the game the right way." But The Stew is firm in its belief that there's no one in MLB is quite as adept at Baseball Theater as Mr. Puig.

He puts on a show, and if that's not something you like, then the rest of will watch and applaud when applicable.

Here's the latest installment of Yasiel Puig Baseball Theater from Saturday's 8-7 loss to the Colorado Rockies — it's another one of those "This is Puig in a nutshell" moments, where reckless turns into amazing and that turns into productive. (Note: Puig Baseball Theater is not always productive).

Play the video above and watch as Puig takes a bad route to a fly ball, leaps for an impressive catch, gets up quickly to throw the ball in, hits the cut-off man (!!!) with a good throw, as the Dodgers turn a double play.

You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and then you have, Yasiel Puig.
