Once again, Andrew McCutchen proves he's a man of the people.

The Pittsburgh Pirates star and reigning NL MVP recorded a video greeting for a fan who turned 100 years old Thursday. 'Cutch gives to the kids and he gives to the senior citizens. What a guy.

Here's the backstory: Regene Green had her 100th birthday recognized in the local newspaper in Chicora, Pa. The birthday announcement included a note that Green is a Pirates fan and McCutchen is her favorite player. 'Cutch's camp spotted it and he sent her a video greeting, which included an invite to batting practice.

The picture above on the right shows that Green has been loving McCutchen since before he won the MVP. 'Cutch's camp found it in his fan mail from two years ago. She's no bandwagoner.

If she's that into McCutchen, maybe she will show up at Pirates batting practice. That would be a sight to see.
